The Joy Of Movement

The second thing you notice about animals in the wild?

They love to move around.

They don’t just pace from one end of the cage to the other.
Because there is no cage.

Only freedom.

Penguins can’t fly. But they are superb swimmers.

Walking comes awkwardly to them.

But they seem to love it.

Maybe it’s just the joy of movement.

For no apparent reason.

They just love to go for a stroll.

Sometimes, they seem to be on patrol.

Or on parade.

They don’t seem to be going anywhere in particular.

They just walk.

And walk.

And walk.

Walking for the sheer joy of it?
Far better than keeping to one’s cage.
